Glen Urquhart has built businesses and created jobs for decades. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia. Glen and his wife Angela have 5 children and 15 grandchildren. They are 14 year residents of Rehoboth Beach.

Glen won the 2010 Republican nomination for United States Congress. Presidents Reagan and Bush appointed him Chairman of the National Capital Planning Commission. Glen was elected Chairman of the Sussex County Republican Party. He has also spent time on the Delaware State Police Citizens Advisory Council for Troop 7.

He and Angela support the Cape area Young Life ministry and are active members at New Covenant Presbyterian Church.
